What is the best way to network multiple clients to a central server to share a software program.?

I need to network multiple clients to a central server (not a workgroup) that is running a software program. I want each client to be able to connect to and utilize all software programs on the computer, and access all files. What is the best way to do this? What is the best way to network multiple clients to a central server to share a software program.?
you can make the drive that the programs are installed on a network shared drive; any computer that maps that network drive can access the files on it.

However, most programs as they install change the registry with data the program needs. a remote computer will not be able to access the registry on a remote computer, so unless the program is a standalone it won't run from there. For that, you will need a 'remote login', with the "remote desktop connection" program included with windows or with LogMeIn or some other method. Once you log in through remote desktop, you can do anything you can while you're at the server comptuer. What is the best way to network multiple clients to a central server to share a software program.?
You need to look into Citrix. Its the most popular app out there for what you are looking to do. If you are putting something out on the internet, you dont want to joke around with security by using other smaller programs that may not have the development staff to keep up with security updates. It can be pricey but its the best out there in my opinion. Not to mention youll be able to find a large group of technicians out in the field that can help you out with this as opposed to picking up some no name software.
